About

Welcome! My name is Bradley, and I'm the Founder of Bamboo Momentum Coaching. Why Bamboo Momentum? I chose the name because bamboo represents the kind of growth I hope to cultivate in my clients: strong, deeply rooted, and flexible enough to adapt when life inevitably changes. Momentum reminds us that meaningful growth isn't about moving faster but about taking intentional steps that build lasting progress.
What does this mean for you?
It means you don't have to figure everything out alone. Maybe you've been feeling pulled toward "something else," even if you can't quite define what that means yet. Whether it's a new career, growing as a leader, greater confidence, healthier relationships, or simply feeling more like yourself again, I help people look beyond the immediate challenge to better understand the patterns, beliefs, and circumstances that may be shaping their experience.Instead of relying on one-size-fits-all solutions, I work with clients who want to trust their judgment more, communicate with greater confidence, and feel more intentional about the choices they're making. I accomplish this by creating a space where you can slow down, think more clearly, understand what's getting in your way, and move toward solutions that feel authentic to you. My approach is grounded in also believing that some of the best coaching conversations include moments of laughter alongside moments of insight. Growth doesn't have to feel heavy to be meaningful. So! If you've been seeking a thoughtful, supportive space to pause, reflect, and move forward with clarity, then you've come to the right place.
A little about me...
My own career and leadership journey, from Program Coordinator to Director, is what sparked my passion for coaching because I experienced firsthand what it was like navigating new responsibilities, imposter syndrome, difficult conversations, and the evolving identity and discomfort that comes with growth. One of my most important lessons was that effective leadership isn't only about meeting organizational goals but about understanding and supporting the unique strengths, doubts, personalities, and experiences each person brings to their work.Over the years, one pattern I observed with friends, family, and colleagues is just how much our upbringing, lived experiences, and identities can influence the way we think, communicate, and respond to challenges. Recognizing this was incredibly freeing for me. It changed the way I approached leadership, coaching, my own self-awareness, and relationships with others. This new lens furthered my commitment to helping others make sense of what's happening and uncover opportunities for meaningful change. To complement my experience, I pursued formal coach training through an ICF-accredited program, became a Board Certified Coach, and earned my MS in Counseling. Together, these experiences provide the foundation for my coaching approach, blending evidence-based practices with genuine curiosity, empathy, and partnership.

Graduate School Application Consulting
Graduate school is a considerable investment in time...money...lifestyle change...so why not give it your all? With so much information online about how to apply, sometimes it helps to have a real person to talk through to not only offer guidance but tips as well. By leveraging my 17+ year career reviewing and making decisions on graduate school applications, I work with individuals at all stages of the application process. Whether they're considering graduate school in the far future, or even starting this year, I help clients navigate their journey to further their education.I do so by working 1:1 with clients at all stages ranging from current undergrads to experienced professionals. Ways I support clients include:
Explore interests and reasons for furthering your education and if there may be additional ways to achieve your career goals.
With so many program options available, I work with clients to identify compatible masters, doctoral and/or certificate programs that will launch you into your next career.
Help provide accountability throughout the application process, especially given competing program application deadlines.
Review personal essays for content and flow to increase impact with reviewers.
Strategies to receive compelling letters of recommendations that actually strengthen an application versus merely checking off a box.
Navigate fellowships and funding opportunities.
Coaching Impact
Clients often tell me they leave our conversations with greater clarity, a renewed sense of agency, and a practical next step they hadn't considered before. The proof is in the pudding through a sample of coaching testimonials I've received below:
"I feel very fortunate to work with Bradley as part of my professional growth journey. His coaching style is thoughtful, reflective, and highly personalized. He is an exceptional listener who takes the time to truly understand my concerns and asks insightful, open-ended questions that help me think through challenges from different perspectives. Rather than offering quick answers, he helps me break down complex situations into manageable steps, which helps give me greater clarity.Bradley has helped me identify what's missing in my current role and develop a strategy to close those gaps. He also encouraged me to pursue opportunities I might have overlooked because I didn't think I was qualified. His ability to see my potential has helped me see it in myself."- Claire T.
"Bradley's greatest strength is his ability to find the perfect balance of being incredibly supportive yet providing thought-provoking insight. His empathy and nonjudgemental demeanor allowed me to be completely honest with him -- and therefore myself.I also deeply appreciate Bradley's wisdom. He's helped me shift my mindset and see things from a fresh perspective. Ultimately, those insights have not only challenged me to think differently, but allowed me to grow as a professional.I truly appreciate Bradley's guidance and compassion."
